Hey there, puzzle lovers! I've just released an update that fixes an issue some of you were experiencing with daily new puzzles not showing up. If you're still having trouble, don't worry - I've got you covered! Simply update the app to the latest version and head over to the About screen. From there, just click on the Clear Cache button and you should be good to go. Thanks for your patience and happy puzzling!

Hey everyone!

This is the last update of the year... if nothing breaks (finger-crossed). I've added categories to the app, so you can now browse puzzles by category, such as landscapes, people, and food. Plus, there's a special Christmas and New Year category to get you in the holiday spirit. I'd love to hear what you think of this new feature, so please let me know.

As we near the end of the year, I want to say thank you for your support. It's been an amazing year with Puzzle of the Day. Happy holidays and happy puzzling. And, of course, I have a dad joke for you: Why was the puzzle afraid of Christmas? Because it's the time of year when pieces are expected to fit perfectly under pressure!

Hi everyone,

That’s me again. I am in my pro-active state when I deliver many updates in a short period of time. Let’s see how long it’ll last :) But the goal is to improve the app and make it better for you! I have a big plan in 2021 for the app. I won’t reveal everything just now, but stay tuned ;)

In this update I tried to tackle some of the long-known issues as well as made some internal optimisation and cleanups:
- Fixed sizes of puzzle pieces in the extreme level. Still haven’t fixed the bug when pieces are not attached properly to each other, but I’m working on it.
- Fixed scroll tray getting stuck sometimes and becoming not touchable at all.
- Added back support for iOS9.
- Updated pre installed database for new users.
- Made some improvements for the performance of the app.

Most likely, you won’t notice any changes, but still let me know if you do or if you have any feedback by writing a review to the app. This will be greatly appreciated!

What a year it was, huh! Although it was a big challenge for all of us, I'm pretty sure that everyone found their silver lining. We are still quite far from normal life, but I wish that 2021 turns out a bit better!

Regarding the app, I’ve made small improvements to the game process. Also, fixed a glitch where a piece of puzzle wouldn’t go back to the deck properly. As always, there was some developer house cleaning of the project which is not necessarily visible to you, but it improves stability of the app.

Finally, I’ve done some magic to reduce the amount of space required by the app. If you open the info screen in the app, you can see the Clear Cache button. By pressing this button you can clear all the old unnecessary files stored by the app. All your old puzzles will still be available for you to play at anytime. Also, fixed a crash for those of you who still use iOS 9.
